The Marsden M-652 is a Class III Approved digital wheelchair scale with a large, robust platform and sturdy handrails.
The size of this weighing scale’s platform means it can accommodate almost any wheelchair; two handrails provide invaluable support for frail or bariatric patients who wish to stand whilst being weighed.
This large one piece unit, with integrated low-profile ramps, has a high 300kg capacity and excellent accuracy to 100g. It is compact and very easy to store.
The M-652 is fitted with castors and a handle so that it is easy and safe to transport. Rechargeable batteries provide over 40 hours of continuous use.
A gentle incline on the ramps of the M-652 mean easy accessibility for wheelchair users, making it ideal for hospitals and care homes. By using the scale’s Tare and Preset Tare features, the weight of the wheelchair can easily be deducted from the total weight, meaning you have just the weight reading of the patient showing on the digital indicator.
The M-652’s indicator is very easy to use, with two displays used to show weight, height and BMI data. BMI is calculated by manually entering height data into the full numeric keypad.
This wheelchair scale is also available with Bluetooth connectivity for wirelessly transmitting weight, height and BMI data to systems, databases, smartphones and tablets. USB connectivity is also available. A printer can be purchased as an optional extra, providing a permanent record of results.
A two year Marsden warranty is provided as standard. For increased reliability and long-lasting accuracy, a Marsden service contract can also be purchased.
