Gel Cushion - Low Profile 400x400x25mm

This Gel Cushion has been designed to act as a second skin which moulds perfectly to the body shape and reduces friction in the sacral area.

The Cushion is made from high resilience, impermeable, viscoelastic polyurethane gel which has high elasticity properties and is designed for patients who are at a Low-Medium Risk of developing pressure sores.

It is designed to improve the comfort provided by existing surfaces increasing pressure distribution without compromising the user’s posture.

As the cushion is only 25mm in depth, it is ideal for use on rise-recliner chairs as well as wheelchairs so that the arms of the chairs are still effective as barriers to prevent the user from falling out.

The 2-way stretch cover is anti-allergenic, antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal which helps prevent cross contamination as well as being vapour-permeable and washable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
