The Invacare Softform Premier Original is a high-quality replacement mattress that is designed to suit the requirements of acute care and community healthcare environments. 

Whilst being practical and durable for everyday use, this mattress provides excellent levels of comfort and pressure redistribution. The Softform Premier Original is suitable for those considered at high or very high risk of developing pressure sores.

The mattress core consists of a unique contoured insert pad, constructed from castellated foam cells, which conform independently to movement and body positioning and effectively reduce shear and friction forces. In addition, the castellations provide excellent pressure redistribution thus providing ultimate comfort for the patient.

The mattress construction is non-glued which allows for good conformity when profiled on electric profiling bed frames and enables air to flow freely between the castellations, helping to regulate a healthy micro-climate.
