Side Rail Wedges 4 Piece Set

The Side Rail Wedge Set is a solution to eliminating the risk of patients becoming trapped between the rails of their bed.

This set includes 4 Side Rail Wedges which are secured to the side rails with Velcro straps. 2 Wedges are fitted each side of the bed and prevent the patient’s limbs from getting caught within the rails as well as soften any impact between their body and the rails.

These wedges provide a robust and versatile solution to patient protection. They can either be fitted two per side, or separated to suit specific needs.

The wedges can be cleaned by a 10 minute cold prewash followed by a main wash not exceeding 80°C for 10 minutes. Allow the wedges to dry naturally if disinfection is required, wash with a 1000ppm sodium hypochlorite solution. Do not bleach or use biological or phenolic-based cleaners.
