Instant Ice Pack

Instant Ice Packs can simply be activated by squeezing which releases the contents and creates an endothermic chemical reaction. The Ice Pack ingredients include water and ammonium nitrate which, when mixed and agitated, quickly become very cold.

The single-use Instant Ice Pack has an immediate effect due to its coldness which reduces blood flow in the targeted area, therefore reducing pain symptoms and discomfort as well as preventing swelling and bruising.

Instant Ice Packs can be used for:

• Injuries that require swelling reduction
• Treatment of injured soft tissues and joints, including sprains and strains
• Physiotherapy treatments
• Sports injuries
• Soothing sunburn
• Reduction of tendonitis symptoms
• Soothing areas of injections or insect bites.

Please note:

• Place a barrier between skin and the ice pack to prevent ice burn.
• Do not use cold therapy products, including instant freeze ice packs, to treat stiff muscles or joints, or if the patient has poor circulation or diabetes.
