Casa Elite Low 4 Section Profiling Bed

The Casa Elite Low Profiling Bed is a long-term care and community electrical profiling bed. It has been designed and developed especially for nursing and residential care environments and enables the bed platform to be lowered closer to the floor reducing the risk of a fall from height for vulnerable residents.

Adjustable head, foot and knee sections enable the patient to be moved into multiple positions without the need for manual handling. The bed platform allows for a variety of both static and dynamic mattresses to be used, but mattresses should always be attached to the moving part of the bedframe.

This bed is supplied with a 9 button handset as standard that can either be used by the carer or the patient, however the handset has a lock-out function which prevents tampering to the bed functions. An optional 10 button handset is available which has the addition of the Trendelenburg (Head-Down-Tilt) positioning function.

Although the bed is manoeuvrable via the aid of the 4 (lockable) castors, it is not designed for patient transportation. The bed can be disassembled into 4 separate sections, which can then be assembled on to the transport stands provided with the bed, aiding transport and storage.

Other optional extras are available such as Side Rails, Battery Backup Accessory, Bed Extension, Infusion (Drip) Pole, Lifting Pole, Manual Calf Lift Section and the 10 Button Handset.
