Steroguard Biohazard Kit designed for clearing up blood spillages, highly infectious or potential life-threatening bodily fluids and other harmful biohazards.

Available in 3 kit sizes

Biohazard Kit Instructions:

Step 1: Open the carry case and break open the biohazard kit single-use application. First, put on the gloves and apron.

Step 2: Tear open the sachet of absorbent powder and sprinkle it over the entire spill. Take care to cover the whole spill area, including the edges and also look for splashes further away from the main spill area. The absorbent powder will turn the liquid into a gel-like solid in a few seconds.

Step 3: Take out the yellow clinical waste bag and open it up. Use the scraper tool to push the matter into a pile in the centre. Be careful and scrape in one direction towards the centre so as to not push the matter around unnecessarily.

Step 4: Use the scraper tool to push the matter onto the scoop tool and transfer it to the yellow bag. Put the scoop and scraper into the yellow bag.

Step 5: Once you have transferred all of the solid matter to the yellow bag, use the Steroclenz Spray to disinfect the area. Spray liberally on and all around the spill area. Use a piece of blue roll or tissue to wipe the area thoroughly. Carefully place all cleaning materials in the yellow bag when you’ve finished, including the scoop and scraper, the apron and gloves you are wearing.

Step 6: Tie up the yellow hazard bag securely and check to make sure the outside of the bag is totally intact. This can then be taken to the biohazard waste disposal point to be collected.

Step 7: Use the hand wipe to disinfect your hands at the end of the procedure, dispose of it in general waste and wash your hands with soap and water or antibacterial hand gel as soon as possible.
